White said Fight Island will include training facilities, hotels and a safety zone. This will include an island of almost 10 square miles which includes an arena and restaurants, as well as the aforementioned facilities.
Fight Island will have its fair share of glasses. A welterweight fight between Kamaru Usman and Gilbert Burns will make the front page of UFC 251, with two more title fights taking place on the island.
The UFC and Abu Dhabi signed a five-year agreement to hold annual cards there in 2019. The last UFC event on Yas Island was UFC 242, headlined by Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier.
